Dear New Judge:

The Judicial Family Institute (JFI) is dedicated to providing information, support, and education to judicial family members. To keep up with changing technology, judicial family information is now online through the National Center for State Courts. You may contact JFI at:

JFI has started this Web site to encourage participation in judicial family programs, and we encourage you to log on. This site contains useful information from several states, including news, educational information, and other resources.

JFI is eager to provide any assistance your family may need. In order to familiarize your family members with JFI, we invite you to provide contact information on the attached form and return it to the Education Division/CJER of the Administrative Office of the Courts. We will provide to the individuals you identify information on JFI and a Judicial Family Ethics document that has been annotated for use in California.
We hope that you will benefit from your participation in our organization.
