Families Gear Up For Political Campaigns

Many states require part or all of their judges to campaign for office. Those judges and their family members who are not born politicians (and those who are) may enjoy gearing up for public appearances by browsing the bookstores or Internet for literature on campaigning. One JFI supporter recommends The Art of Mingling by Jeanne Martinet, St. Martins Press NY 1992.

Judges and their families who are aware of the many career opportunities open to judges are able to campaign with considerable confidence. See a variety of options in What Can You Do With a Law Degree? A Lawyer’s Guide to Career Alternatives Inside, Outside & Around the Law, by Deborah Arron, J.D.  Paperback Niche Press (January 1999 edition).
